anybody like this Walter Salles movie (Central do Brasil, Motorcycle Diaries the Ché story...)
is with lead actor of great Control (Joy Division biopic) & Steve Buscemi, Viggo Mortensen does amazing William S. Burroughs & the Dean character is just excellent..

might be ruined by some beat-lovers for
a: Kirsten Dunst (Spiderman)
b: Kirsty Stewart (Twilight)

this movie deals with: road movie,existentialism,writing,jazz,word-poetry (Slim Gaillard's Ye Roc Heresy!!),gay issues, bisexuality, dope (as in benzedrine?),poverty of USA in the 50s...

Excellent movie!

not some faggot fanboy, but here to discuss

Of course the batman films would require heavily assistance from CGI and special effects. In this day and age you can't get away with making hollywood films using models and plaster. Such films like Total Recall, The Thing, The Fly, etc. had a more personal feel because the camera was filming real objects, not computer projections like the sci-fi of today (yes I consider batman sci-fi)
Back to Nolan, I think it would be unfair to judge him solely on his batman films. His other films such as Memento, Insomnia, The Prestige hardly had any CGI, only several camera tweeks.

Overpaid? yes
overrated? yes

worthy of all his internet hate? not so much IMO
