So as we all know it's impossible to delete something from your harddrive without wiping it 50 times or physically destroying it. BUT what if you just want to get rid one one file, say it's a movie. Could you change the filename extension from say WMV to TXT, open the text file, delete the text, then delete the file? Would that have the same result?

http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/news/2010/07/sexting-and-child-porn-are-they-any-different.ars?

"...The difference between "sexting" and "child pornography" might seem obvious, but it's not. Take one common metric for labeling something "child porn"—was it produced voluntarily? That question has its limits.

Adults can (and do) convince minors to take sexually explicit pictures by webcam, for instance. Or they acquire pictures of kids that were created voluntarily for a boyfriend or girlfriend but were later forwarded to others or posted on the 'Net (after a bad breakup, say). Though the image might look exactly like child pornography, asking "how was this produced?" might make it difficult to prosecute those who collect and view child porn.

As a recent Harvard overview of sexting and the law notes, "Every adult who possesses or trades in child pornography could claim that the images are protected by the First Amendment, unless the government can prove they were not taken voluntarily by minors, for minors."

>>273
You seem to be slightly off topic, but I do sincerely hope that the moderation team allows you to proceed.

Pro tip: This is a file host discussion thread on a teen board.

OC, in the form tWeens, is not welcome here.

Back on topic: Thank you for habitually re-hosting all of the single file host posts that you deem 'of no loss', for your own gain, and let me know where to send you the $5.

Ok, fine. Presuming that your individually hosted MultiUpload links pay MUCH better - I will send you $10 - cash. Final offer.

With $10 you could become highest paid epic failtroll of AnonIB.

Just sayin'...

sage
